Relative Density Standards

We are happy to announce that Paragon Scientific has extended its range of Density standards to now include Relative Density standards.

Paragon Scientific’s Relative Density standards are ideal for the calibration or verification of instruments used to measure the density or relative density (specific gravity), as outlined in the following international test methods: ASTM D1298; IP 160; ISO 3675; DIN 51757; AFNOR T60-101; and JIS K2249.

Our new Relative Density standards are dual certified in accordance with both ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 under our UKAS accreditation, ensuring their values are certified to the highest level of accreditation integrity available globally. All density measurements are made in accordance with ASTM D1480, which is the ‘Standard Test Method for Density and Relative Density (Specific Gravity) of Viscous Materials by Bingham Pycnometer’.

Each Relative Density standard available is supplied in 500 mL, tamper evident packaging and have a shelf life of two years.
