UKAS Certification Logos

The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole body recognised by Government for the accreditation of conformity assessment against internationally agreed standards for testing, calibration, inspection and certification. UKAS accreditation demonstrates your competence as a business. It enables customers to make a confident and informed choice about the quality and reliability of the service. The UKAS mark will provide potential customers with appropriate information and knowledge, allowing them to make an informed decision in their procurement process. Accredited organisations are able to demonstrate that they will deliver accurate and reliable results.

UKAS has significant influence overseas and occupies high profile roles in international bodies which act to remove technical barriers to international trade, making it easier to sell your goods or services in potential new growth markets.

What is ISO 17025?

ISO 17025 is a recognised international standard that specifies the requirements for the competence to carry out testing and or calibrations to a standard dictated by international methods. The international standard requires that an accredited facility comply with all the requirements detailed within the varied sections of the standard. These sections range from assuring the quality of test and calibration results to accommodation, environmental conditions, and purchasing. ISO17025 is applicable to laboratories that operate in a multitude of business sectors, some of which include automotive, cosmetics, micro-electronics, petro-chemical, pharmaceutical and power generation.

What is ISO 17034?

ISO 17034 provides the highest level of Quality Assurance, confirming the expertise of the manufacturer, the integrity of the production systems and the reliability of the Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) that it produces.

Our dual UKAS accreditation to ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 provides a level of confidence and assurance that international guidelines are followed in the production, labelling, and assignment of property values to materials, including stability and homogeneity determinations.
