General Purpose Viscosity Reference Standards

Manufactured in accordance with ASTM D 2162, the primary method for viscosity standards manufacture. They are fully traceable to national standards and are test equipment compatible. They are dual UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.

Cone and Plate Viscosity

These standards ensure full compliance to ASTM & IP test method protocol and are fully traceable to national standards. They are dual UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.

Cold Cranking Simulator Viscosity

These standards are especially designed to be used for the calibration and verification of the Cold Crank Simulator (CCS), testing to ASTM D5293. They are dual UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.

Flow Cup Viscosity

These standards are especially designed for use in DIN, Ford, ISO, Shell and Zahn flow cups and are also dual purpose Density standards. Certified at 20°C and 25°C, each value is tested to ASTM D 2162 for viscosity measurement and ASTM D 1480 for Density measurement. They are dual UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.

Low Temperature Viscosity

These standards are widely used for the verification of viscometers at sub zero temperatures on a routine basis. Fully ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 certified, the use of these standards can also help provide confidence in overall system functionality including bath uniformity, bath stability, temperature measurement, timer accuracy and viscometer calibration.

High Temperature Viscosity

These high temperature standards are tested at 135°C and 150°C, and ensure full compliance to ASTM & IP test method protocol and are fully traceable to national standards. They are dual UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.

High Temperature Viscosity Standards - 100 to 150 °C

These high temperature standards are tested at 100°C, 110°C, 120°C, 130°C, 140°C and 150°C, and ensure full compliance to ASTM & IP test method protocol and are fully traceable to national standards. They are dual UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.

Medical Viscosity

Manufactured in accordance with ASTM D 2162, the primary method for viscosity standards manufacture. They are fully traceable to national standards and are test equipment compatible.  They are UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025.

Mineral Oil Rotational Viscosity

These viscosity standards are specifically designed for Rotational Viscometers. Dual certified to both ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 under United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), they provide both calibration and verification options for rotational viscometer test equipment from this most comprehensive range of standards.

Silicone Rotational Viscosity

They are dual UKAS certified to the International Standards BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34.  Convenient 600mL 'use from pack' format.

Small Sample Viscosity - ASTM D7279

These standards are certified in accordance with ASTM D2162 at 40 ºC and 100 ºC under our  ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 accreditation and have been manufactured specifically for the users of ASTM D7279, Standard Test Method for Kinematic Viscosity of Transparent and Opaque Liquids by Automated Houillon Viscometer and other similar type test equipment.

Pure Water Viscosity Standard

Paragon ISO 17025 / ISO Guide 34 certified pure water viscosity standards are for the calibration and verification of glass capillary viscometers and other viscosity measuring equipment where operating temperature is controlled precisely.
