Paragon Scientific introduces the Setaflash series 8 range of high quality flash point testers

‘Series 8’ is the latest range of Setaflash instruments, updating the popular and widely used Series 7 models and now incorporating many advanced features. The new instrument range uses either an electronic ignitor or gas flame according to user preference. An ActiveCool version incorporates peltier heating and cooling which will rapidly reduce the cup temperature after a test is completed, allowing fast sample removal and shorter test cycle. Peltier cooling also allows testing at or below ambient temperature. The standardised integral temperature ‘ramp’ mode automatically increases the temperature of the sample until a flash is detected Other new features include colour LCD screen and soft key controls, 64 results memory with operator & sample references. PC, LAN & printer connections. Software upgrades possible via local PC.
